CURRENT EVENTS

Ecumenical Partnership for Housing (EPH) Sturgeon Bay:

The Ecumenical Partnership for Housing is working with Door County Memorial Hospital and Habitat for Humanity to renovate our first home which will provide transitional housing for a family in need. Currently our church is holding the funds being raised to support this renovation. Of the $80,000 needed to complete this project we still have $17,000 to raise. If this important new mission is something you are interested in supporting, there are two ways you can give: write a check made out to the SB Moravian Church with EPH in memo line or go to https://sbmc.breezechms.com/give/online, and click the top down arrow for EPH.

Door County Mission Festival:

On Saturday, February 22 from 2-4pm Door County Moravians will be gathering at the Kress Center in Egg Harbor for a mission festival. There will be food and fellowship as well as important updates about mission opportunities. Our main presenter will be The Rt. Rev. Dr. Amy Gohdes-Luhman who will be updating us on the new structure of the Moravian Board of World Mission and her role as the new Director of Mission Engagement. There will also be an update on the ongoing work at the Ahuas Clinic in Honduras as well as a presentation about the brand-new Ecumenical Partnership for Housing-Sturgeon Bay which is addressing the need for transitional housing in the county. The Door County Mission Festival was held for the first time just prior to covid and was a wonderful gathering of Door County Moravians. Please plan on joining us.
